About The Duke’s Head Inn
Welcome to the Duke’s Head. This is a small, friendly, traditional English Inn located in a quiet residential area on the slopes of Richmond Hill, with a history that dates back to Victorian times.
The Duke’s Head is enduringly popular with tourists, who love to soak up the atmosphere of this inviting stately pub and B&B when they visit Richmond-upon-Thames. You are more than welcome to pop into the Duke’s Head for some food and drink at any time. If you’d like to book a room in the B&B or a table in our restaurant, please use the online booking form or call 020 8948 4557.
The River Thames runs through the heart of the town, and the area offers beautiful royal parks and historic houses, theatres, museums and galleries rich with exhibits, plus numerous shops and restaurants. Resident guests are served a hearty English breakfast every morning - although host Mairead does sometimes give it a bit of an Irish flavour.
Owners Pat and Mairead Dalton have run the Duke’s Head pub and B&B for the last twenty years, and they have infused it with a blend of modern day customer service and traditional Irish charm.
The Duke’s Head offers a selection of 11 rooms, all beautifully presented. All rooms have tea and coffee facilities, private bathrooms and come fully furnished with a TV.
